And now, for all of you Meowx fans, I have also uploaded the MAGMA graphics as well. Just drop the two plugs into the Nova Plug-ins folder. Yes, I had to split MAGMA into two plugins, just because it is so huge, I couldn't fit the RLE#s onto it.

It shouldn't make a difference, just rename the Nova Files folder, and replace it with the one included in the archive. You could change them if you want to, though.

Creator codes have no affect on plugin loading, so it should work just fine as is.

Actually either the creator or the File Type matters. Im not sure which one it is. This is a problem with the latest version of stuffit. It does not preserve creator codes, so plugins stuffed/expanded with it won't work unless you set the Creator and/or file type. I found a handy little RealBasic app somewhere on the addons page which can batch convert to any nova format.

Yes, but that is only true for the file types. The type of those files was still NP(umlaut-i)f, so it would work. The update will have the correct creator and have a valid file type.
The next version, which includes a scaled status bar, the classic startup screen (no Nova sliders), classic EV windows, and many bug fixes, will be released later today, once I get home. The files are stuffed, and ready to be uploaded. I spent a good deal of hours making it look exactly like EV, except for the status bar, which couldn't be helped. I still couldn't find a way to convert the SND 30000 into a quicktime sound, so unfortunately there is no startup music.
There is the transition music, when you start a new pilot, that was apparently left over from the previous EV's. ('SND '# 30003)
It should be up by 3:00 PM EST.

Just for your information, you can get the ď character by typing option-u, and then the vowel you want the umlaut over (option-u and a for ä, option-u and u for ü, etc). Unless you're on a PC, in which case I have no idea how to get the character.

Cool. Does it fix the thing with the strings being in the wrong places? I don't really know if it was supposed to be that way or not, but I found that almost every label of things was wrong. (i.e. at the start, your "turn rate" was "shuttle craft") I couldn't figure out how to fix it and was planning on just coping all the graphics and hard data onto Nova; keeping all of Nova's windows and stuff. Now I shouldn't have to do that.

Yes, I knew that, of course, but I also have no idea on a PC. I was at school at the last post and this one, so I improvised. 
IIRC, it was to hold alt and type some random number combination on the keypad, perhaps the ASCII id?

As for the update, my internet connection was down yesterday, so I couldn't upload anything. I will try again today, as soon as I get home from school.
The flaw you mentioned was because I accidentally copied the Misc strings from Nova 1.0.0, which I didn't realize I hadn't updated. King's Knight sent me a fix for it, you can get it from (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/infernostudios/ept/_raid.sit")http://www.evula.org...s/ept/_raid.sit(/url) . It won't be there later today, as it has already been included in the update.
If you needed to know, you can find Misc Strings, and in the update button labels, and default names, in the EV Basics file.

The file is now uploaded. It contains all customary bug fixes, with several graphical changes from the old version. It now looks and acts almost exactly like Escape Velocity.
As a side note, I also left _raid on the server, as some people may wish to use it to replace all of Nova's resources, without having to remove Nova itself.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Rename your current "Nova Files" folder, or move it into another directory.
Unstuff the ev105beta.sit file, and move "Nova Files (EV)" into the EV Nova folder.
Rename this folder to "Nova Files".
Launch Nova
You can get the file from the link in my sig, along with Magma and RAID. Please tell me if you have any problems with the files.

You need stuffit 7.0.1 to open it. It is a sitx file, but it was renamed for some reason. I'll fix that.

For PC you must have Character Map installed.
Win2000
Start > Program Files > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map
For others, look around in the Accessories folder.
Look around for the letter you want, double-click to put it in the text box, press copy or select the letter and press Ctrl-C.
Go to where you want the letter and Ctrl-V.
Apparently Microsoft didn't think those letters would be used anymore...

Just so you know, when I try to use your TC, Nova crashes every single time I try to create or load a pilot. I can't play it. I am using Nova 1.0.4 and I have it installed as suggested above. I have tried everything to get it to work (including digging through the resources and deleting redundancies), and it still refuses to do so. My computer is an iMac DV 400Mhz with 128MB RAM running Mac OS X 10.2.4. Any help would be appreciated.

That's really strange... Do other plugs work? The only thing I think you could do is to download Nova again, delete the last pilot, and make sure you have no other plug-ins. When does the crash occur?
