Hi, I have some ideas for new plugs but i don't know how to make them! some of my ideas are new vellos ships after you beat the vellos string. A much stronger vellos ship called the spear. You can get a vellos escort other than a dart. More of an ending to the vellos string. I like vellos. Please help.

I like your ideas. I've often thought it would be nice if all the systems in Velos space could change and suddenl become busy habbited systems at the end. After all, the Vellos have all just been freed.
Still, I don't know how to help or if I can even be of any help untill I hear a specific question.

Hmmm, don't think I've got the time to help but you'll have a better chance of others helping if you make you post easier to read and include a few more details. If you just want to add a few ships that's not too hard. But trying to add a few missions to the scenario will be somewhat challenging. Like I said, more details on exactly what your ideas are and putting them in a well written post will help.

Yes the Vell-os rock. Anyway, as what_is_the_matrix said, the EV Gallery is a good place to start for ship graphics. One designer in particular has come up with some really great original Vell-os designs.

Cool idea to make Vell-os space inhabited after you complete the string. But it wouldn't make any sense unfortunately. The Vell-os have merged with Krypt and gone on into the void, so they don't exist in any physical form any longer.

What the Vellos storyline needs, is a point where it splits and then joins back with the original story. This would be like the Polaran story where it splits at some point and you get all the fancy toys. I think someone has made new toys (graphics) for the Vellos.
Anyway as you may know, the Polaran story splits Diplomacy or Toys. Like anyone, I'm up for the toys.
You know the old saying, "the one with the most toys, wins".
I was gung ho about a story split for a while, but I never got the steam going. Instead of a single "Spear of Destiny" ship, work on a story split instead.

Oh, you are assuming that the Vell-os in the current story are the ONLY group around. What about a "lost race" that never got involved in the original plot that got the main group enslaved?

At the moment I'm actually working on a plug that would add a Vell-os sub culture. A group of Vell-os "rebels" that were rejected by the Vell-os and lived seperately in seclusion but end up freeing the enslaved Vell-os in the end. That's all I will say at the moment. Just wait. This plug will rock.

thank you for the things you said! And all I need is to know how to make some of the plugs and graphics. What I like is what someone said (forgot the name) add more to your post. The planet thing is where after you beat the string it says "For A few years the Vell-os and the kript got in a war and went seprate ways. T he remaing Vell-os forces created a new and better planet to live on". And then it goes on to a new vell-os planet with more "toys" and a few more ships. Or. the kript and vell-os wanted to expand and conquer some new planets. and that is when there is a bunch of new planets and some new ships an' toys.

Even though Vell-os arent militaristic (they dont attack anything except Krypt), good idea. Conquer with powerful ships and get even more powerful ships and outfits. Me like.

What I was laughing at was the phrase: "I like vellos. Please help!"
It's a little random, and sounds funny. I don't mind the idea they pose. I even wished them good luck (although it looks sacastic now I read the post, it wasn't meant to be).
Word of Advice: Get a little experience under your belt before you judge what people mean when they say things. Don't be so quick to tell people to post constructively, you might just be missing the point...

Yeah, it does sound funny but laughing at them certainly isn't going to encourage them, no matter how much luck you wish them. But as you know, it's very hard to understand the context that people write in and where exactly they're coming from. You have no idea the age or english proficiency of this person. Just because they're grammer isn't perfect, doesn't make it a justifiable excuse to insult them. This is a genuine request for assistance from people like yourself that have been around for awhile. Your experience entitles you to respect, not the right to put others down because you know more. And don't tell me to get experience under my belt. You have no idea who I am or what I do. The number of posts we have or how many karma points doesn't mean jack. I'm sorry if your post actually had a point.
