I've recently started a new TC, which I cannot describe in great detail. It will go unnamed for now. What I need is sound. I'll bet there are a ton of websites on the web where you could track down free sounds, if Homewear's don't work out. Now granted, someone with some good audio equipment could crank out some solid sounds, but you'll have the online ones as a fallback.

Well I suppose I could crank up the Zoom and Sound Studio... I will give it a go when the new hard disk gets here. Could you please email me with a list of sounds required. For example the number and type of beam, lazer, etc with a description of each (you dont have to give away details but just a few ideas about each.

Any possibility of making a sound library somewhere (anyone?) for EV plugin makers? I'm sure that there are others with mrxak's problem of a too silent universe.

I'm making up a list right now of what I think I'll need. Subject to change, I'm sure. I'll send it out to everyone who shows interest. Then you can fight each other to the death to see who gets included ;). Actually, I'll probably end up picking and choosing between everyone's stuff for best results. Somebody may be better at say, fighter-launches, while someone else is better at beam weapons. Thank you for your help, the list will go out soon...

Okay, I got three people working for me now, right? Please send me stuff as it happens, or a few together if that's better for you. I'd rather you sent me a few things to start, and more later on, as opposed to everything in the end. I sure hope those ramblings make sense. Anyway, let me know from time to time on your progress.

Also, this isn't closed yet. If anyone else wants to send me sound, just send me an email, and I'll send you my preliminary sound wish-list.

{EDIT) Oh, and about the sound file house thinggy...I WAS going to release a sound pack for EV:Nova (about 15 megs total I think......Now that I think of it, it was more) but then I new people where gonna take em and use em before I released MY plug where they are all gonna have originated from. Wow, Sound. That's something of completely overlooked till I saw this post. Does anyone no how to take the sound track from a quicktime move and convert a little piece of it into a snd resource to use in a plugin? And is there a good free or cheap sound ap that can make sound resources?

I basically manipulate waves, but i also take some frequencies from existing snds and modify them.
They look nothing like the original, i just cant start from scratch to the HIGHER degrees. If you want to hear some stuff, then i can send u a resource file.. Open it in res edit. I specialize in ambient sounds and fighter bays/missiles.
