The "New-Era" are a technologically advanced, non-genetically altered government interested in a goal of peace throughout the universe. With their un-defeated leader Edward Rich, the New Era strives to bring peace to the universe with a heavy hand, as they have adopted a Judge, Jury, and Executioner style of law enforcement. They currently have laid claim to one planet and wish to expand their empire by probing any planets south of Aurora and Terraforming them into habital planets for the civilians of the New Era to live. With alot of new Pirates due to the ever increasing rich population of the New Era, they have formed a council to look over the universal issues of other wars such as the current one between the Aurorans and the Federation, and other issues such as making communication with the Polaris, and bringing down the recent Pirate uprising.

Sounds good, Willis. But is it the government that is non-genetically altered? Or is it the 'peoples' of the government? Perhaps just flip it around:

Ahem, I think some things need clarification. Firstly, I wasn't at all offended by your remarks on my ships. I needed the advice. I have no idea how to make the textures though, and would appreciate anyone who will give me something to make them look better. I kinda like them looking clean though, after all the New Era is a new government.
Secondly, I, being the creator of the idea for the New Era(If you'll read our other thing the New Era is my idea; you can look at where I'm from to verify that) tries to bring about the peacefull union of the galaxcy; the only problem is that the galaxcy doesn't neccesarily come peacefully. So they have, in their preparedness, developed excessively high technology and amazingly strong ships and weapons. If we followed the story to my beginning ideas, then they also came from earth way back in the 2100-2500's after which they had already developed hyperspacal technology and could leave the quickly corrupting planet in hopes of preserving the idea of peace and goodness. At the time they were outnumbered population wise and so their technology had to be good; they'd be destroyed otherwise.

I think that's all that needed clarifying; I'll try to check back here more often so it doesn't happen again.

I'm a little confused. So none of the stuff that we've been talking about, as far as the New Era, is valid? Is the info on the website right? Maybe some of these things should be cleared up so that we can have effective communication with the person who is taking responsibility for certain issues. That way we don't spend our time working on something that is irrelevant. You know what I mean...

Well, I am the leader (or organiser) of New Era, not that it makes much difference, and my Idea was without a name. From here on in it becomes tricky. Meaker came to me with the New Era. I kept the idea and 'stole' the name. I think we should carry on with the ideas on the website. I haven't done the history of New Era, so I'll do the thing about running away from earth. Happy? Say if you are not.

Anyway, now that I have cleared up my origonal vision of the New Era, things can continue.

What were we doing? Have we done anything? I know we were working on graphics, and polystatic said something about how we needed textures so I don't want to spend hours rendering if all my work is going to need redoing anyway.

Could somebody send me something? I've got a 10 meg threshold on my email, so don't send over 9 megs(to allow for my emails). I have no idea where the plug currently is. I still think we could do a nifty TC. With this new topic we got all sorts of people. Then we wouldn't need to make all those textures. We could just stick to the crummy ones we have now.( accually, they aren't textures....)
