I have had Frozen Heart for a week, and after landing on Earth and enrolling in the University, I can't get the story line rolling. I've gone all around the galaxy looking for someone to gimme a mission in a bar but I have found none! What am I doing wrong, and where the heck do I go to continue the story?

Watch out for anything out of the ordinary that doesn't seem to be a regular delivery mission.

Forgive me for not starting a new thread but new users are not being registered at this time and unregistered users can't start a thread.
My trouble is with the mission "Trace Assassin II" in frozen heart whenever it shows up in my mission computer and I accept it it reads me the speal that someone was caught hacking in xxx I press the OK buttion and the game freezes solid.
Has anyone else had this trouble? Is there a way around it? Thanks.

Well, I think I'll hide behind my anonymity and ask a stupid sounding question.
I picked up whats-his-name in the mission that you're supposed to visit a lecture on Station Earth. However, the date of the lecture was 2 days before I left Earth? I don't want to delete it because it might be that it's supposed to go that way, but what do I do with this mission now? I'm at a loss.

I have a question. I'm trying to do the mission where that good pilot lady tells you to take the funny blue fighters to the pirate system in the middle-west part of the map and then raid the planet. I hyper in, fight for about 1.5 minutes, and get my butt kicked by falcon missles :mad:. Any suggestions

Do you have the Tachyonic Fighter? If not, go to Earth and get the mission about a Chess competition.

Ok David, ive done that 10 or 15 times and no dice, my leagle status is celebrity, and i have an excellent combat rating. Do you know what i am doing wrong? Is the mission in the bar or computer cuz i have been checking both. HELP!!! I am so confused

I didn't have any trouble getting it, but I don't know if there are any previous missions you need; I haven't played Frozen Heart very many times.

I got the string started. Im up to the point where i could buy it with 2 million creds. Im trying to do this mission where you go look at the forrunner wreck in the 90440 or something like that system. it is the only mission im trying. I hyperjump to the system and...there is no forrunner. I then go back to Earth and nothing happens. Can someone help me???Quote

My guess is that the problems with registration are somehow connected to the problems that Janus (Ambrosia's server) is experiencing that have also lost us the web board search function. However, I'm sure Andrew will re-activate registration as soon as it becomes practical to do so.
As for the alien wreck, if that's the same mission I'm thinking of, then the wreck is a station you dock at, not a ship.
