    • What else is there to do in this game?

Well I've done a bunch of the missions, I have one of those nice UE Cruisers, with the maximum number of escorts, all crescent warships and igadzras, I've completed the defeat Voinans objective, I've scouted out the nebulas. This game seemed rather small to me, it only took me a week to get through all that (but I played a lot every day) So is there anything else in this game that I can do?

    • hmm...what? specify please? can you repeat that? what was it that you suggested i go investigate? you couldn't have said pirates, right? no that couldn't have been possible...

    • Suffice it to say I'm not saying any more. Half of the game is exploring and I think that too often people just outright tell someone what to do on this board.

"Go to this Planet X and pick up the super gun and take it to Planet Q and give it to Person Y who will put it on your ship..."

You could start by heading straight north from UE space, or go Northeast. Take your pick and you'll find more interesting stuff.

    • The only area in the game that I haven't thoroughly explored is east north east of UE space, where I think the Igadzra are or something...well maybe i'll go check it out.

...and the Igadzra all hate me haha

    • Well, the Azdagari hate me as well I think after I did all the Zidagar missions...also another question...in the mission where you fetch supplies from like centauri and bring them up to that ski resort planet west of miranu/ or miranu itself, you can never do it without running out of time!!! and I tried every possible route! Any way to bypass this problem/and is it worth it to do the mission?

    • Try a ship that makes jumps more quickly.

    • So I'd have to get rid of my ue cruiser? ho hum...

    • In reply to your first question, there is one simple answer to end all answers:
      (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/vftp/show.pl?product=evo&category;=plugins&display;=date&page;=1") _ GET A PLUGIN_ (/url)

As for whether or not you should dump the cruiser, if it means getting the mission done, yes you should.

    • Yes, the UE Cruiser makes extremely slow jumps compared to other ships. Try an azdara or another strand ship to do it. You can always purchase the cruiser again later. And you don't really need all those escorts. When I played, I never used escorts. More of a burden than anything else.

    • what do i do with all those escorts then...well does anyone know if the ski resort supply mission is worth dumping a cruiser for? (if it leads to any further mission strings that's definitely worth it)

if you want to do a super excellent plug-in called "Reign of the UE" do it. If not keep it.

It doesn't really do that much anyway

There are better ships (in my opinion) that can actually accomplish the mission on time.....But hey, that's just my opinion.

    • Get a scoutship or something fast. I did that mission with a scoutship and turned Kirrim prime into a ski resort. The Miranu all go there.

    • If he's far enough to where he can buy a Cruiser, he can buy something faster and better than a Scoutship such as an Arada than can make it just as easily. Pardon me if I'm insulting your ship, but I find it to be true from my experience.

    • How do I get the faster ship (Arada) without losing all the money that I spent on the cruiser? Hector steals a lot, so I'm trying to conserve my cash reserves.

    • How much does a cruiser cost? 10 million+? An Arada is a paltry (compared to 10 mil) 1 million, and the upgrades you'll want probably only raise the cost up to like 3-4 million. If your cruiser's so damn good, sell it and you'll have a good bit of extra cash as well. Or, you could just slap a cargo pod on a Crescent Fighter for a total price of 115000 credits and live off other ships' fuel once you've used up the four default fuel jumps.
