I haven't done the UE string in a long time, and I forgot where and how it continues. I can't even get the Destroy the Dreadnaught mission. I have completed the Hinwar central objective and some Miranu missions, plus the very beginning UE missions. Now what?

Well, I always got the mission on Earth, but have you done the missions where you pick up the scoutship? If not, you have to do those. I would normally say your combat rating isn't high enoungh, but you've completed the UE Central objective so that shouldn't be a problem.

I completed the Hinwar central objective and I have a very high combat rating. I didn't rescue any scoutship, where do you get those? I heard somewhere around Knox.

Em, Not sure about that, Luke. I have had the first Dreadnought mission on any UE planet (except for outposts), leading rather easily on to the rest. I hadn't done much at the time, just had a good combat rating, <thinks> Try Knox? I could be wrong, though.

Yeah, you get the scoutship mission anywhere in UE space (not UE Frontier), and after that the Dreadnought series comes almost right after that.

Are you sure about that? I don't think you can do the Hinwar missions without doing the UE Cruiser missions, and you can't do the UE Cruiser missions without doing the Dreadnaught missions. Or maybe I've just gotten a few strings mixed up...

No, I havn't found the UE Cruiser missions yet. I got the Hinwar central objective a while ago and I finished the Dreadnaught mission this early afternoon. I can't find those Cruiser missions...

I believe the UE Cruiser missions, involving Anna Balashova, begin on New Taranto. Since you've done the Dreadnought missions, you definitely have a high enough CR by now. But there is only a chance you'll be offered the mission, so you might have to land a few times to start it.

Nay 21st, I remember back before I knew of these boards I would complete the UE central objective and not have the slightest irkling that the UE had a better ship then the Carrier.
As for missions, I have seen all sorts start in all sorts of places!
