okay i'm sorry for being pathetic!

but i am still stuck!

i thought the idea of these boards was to help people not ignore them...

in case you've forgotten, heres my predicament-

i have found the first two superfreighters and i've spoken to alana on rigel.
since then i've had nothing off the game. i know from the boards that i need to pick up two missions - art theft and murder mystery. i have not been able to get these missions for some reason. i have lengendary combat rating.

i'm not asking you to finish the game for me, just how to get these missions so that i can carry on with the game.

i think that says it all!

I think the murder one starts in the 'Home' spaceport bar, in Bezeleefsjngsn... Or something like that. What's the name of the system? In north west of the map, just before you go out to the big star shaped thing...

I picked up the murder mission after taking Matt Ixhoff to Home. I don't know about the art theft yet, but actually finishing the murder missions is really tough, because you have to find a specific pers. (and there's only a 5% chance per system of a pers showing up anyway).

I just recently completed FF. Yay! To do that though I had to restart the plug in. For some reason when I found the two freighters, even though I had completed both the murder mystery and the stolen art, Alana would not tell me anything. I assumed that the pilot file was corrupted somehow. So, Jeremiah what I think you need to do is:

1. You need to rescue matt ixhoff from the pegasi system (the pirate one). He then sends you on a mission to recover a probe. At the completion of that mission the murder mystery mission starts.

2. The stolen art mission starts with someone asking you to trail a moonraker to a system. The system is a random one I think. For me this mission started on Northstar.

If this doesn't help I'm sorry. If any of these missions sound familiar and nothing is happening then consider restarting.
