yeah, and if you have many neutron turrets can be evil, but phase turrets are easily the best, unless your fighting the voinians, then you get emalgha cannons

I find better phases+neutrons if against Voinians. Blazes are interesting, but have a too short range, and against Voinians, it may be problematic. Numerous defence pods launchers are great, especially against masses of fighters: I worked once for the Igazras, and even if I meet 2 Azgari warships (and therefore 12 Azdaras) or 4 Zidaras (and 8 Zidagar fighters) I am always able to destroy them quickly. And I don't usually like weapons with ammo, which may be expensive at the long run, but defense pods are so cheap (500 credits each), especially in regard of others Crescent/Miranu techs, that I like this weapon

Sucks against Voinians though (took out the Dreadnaught with an Adzara and swivels one time, a drawn-out process). Having said that, it definitely gets my vote.

You can still get space mines in EVO, and the only difference really is the graphics and the way you can get fined by UE for owning them.

As for what I think the best weapon is, I only ever use Neutron turrets in one pilot file, and in another, I only use phase turrets.

When it comes to cannons, I have to say the Neutron Cannon. It has a much faster rate of fire then the turreted version, and packs quite a whallop. Overall, I believe phase weapons are the best, even if their yellow weapon sprites are rather ugly...
