Here's a few ideas of plug-ins I have thought of lately. I know these should go on the Developer's Board, but I check this board more often, and these aren't being "developed" yet.

1. How about something to do with the South Tip Renegades? Mission String suggestions: Freeing Groned from Renegade control. Zachit presence brought to the South Tip. (Such as a Base of Operations on South Tip Station)

2. Outfit Ideas: New type of shielding. Mission string could be done involving the Miranu. How about a better escape pod? Such as a Shuttle, or Crescent Fighter, instead of a basic, uncontrollable escape pod. (I read in the story "Omega Conspiracy" the main character has a Shuttle on his Turncoat.) This would be pretty cool.

3. How about taking the Emalgha/Hinwar/UE Alliance further? Such as trade, exchange of technology, and give the Hinwar soe of their own ship designs.

4. How about a plug-in that allows you to outfit your fighters?

Those are some good suggestions. Maybe someday I'll make a plug with all those features.

Actually, I have a plug coming out which is similar to that, but instead of the Zachit or Strandless the Igadzra come and level four ST Renegade worlds (in the plug the ST Renegades have captured 3/4 of the South Tip). Of course, in the same plug, the Kayians and Obtuse Militia will probably have a few missions, and I think I'll give the ST Renegades a few missions to level one or two Igadzra systems.

BTW, in the plug, Feviry is under Zachit control after the big Human and South Tip Renegade scare.

Good, but either way you can't control any form of escape pod or ship. It's part of EV/Os programming.

Well, in that same plug that I was talking about, the Emalgha get Pursuit Missiles because of a trading pact with the Miranu, the UE and Emalgha start to really trade with each other and you actually see UE and Miranu ships interacting, but nothing new really happens to the Hinwar, except that I enhanced their dudes a bit (the old ones STINK).

Yes, those are quite good. Another good idea for a plugin would be, say, more Zachit and Miranu combat ships, or the Zachit going to south tip, as Stud said, or another idea would be the Zachit stumbling upon the Emalgha, in need of ores and supplies. Another nice thing for a new plug might be where the north tip renegades find a way into the Ji Nebula and find colonies already there. Plugs that allow you to outfit fighters you're carrying would be cool, like say you're in a Crescent Warship, and you buy some shield generators for your fighters and get an experimental shield generator for them, and make them unstoppable.

How about a Zachit Destroyer? In other words, a Zidara without any Zidagar weapons, two Zachit fighters and a Zachit fighter bay, tons of Pursuit missiles, two phase turrets, and dispersal rockets. How about THAT?

With the tech exchange, I kinda meant morel ike emalghians begin to use hunters/blaze weaponry, and UE begins outfitting emalgha weaponry. OOH! How about a mission string, where first you establish the weaponry trade, and then the UE begins making a prototype emalgha/blaze cannon! The speed and range of the blaze weaponry, combined with armor blasting power of the emalgha weaponry!

You can't do anything with fighers or escape pods? Well that sucks! Hopefully something like this will/can be done in EVN!

Also, the Zachit using a Zidara ship wouldn't be good. It would make it seem that the Zachit/Miranu are siding with the Zidagar. This might make a few people angry, plus the Igadzra and the Azdgari might want to destroy the Miranu! I think, if new Zacha ships are added, they should be a brand new ship. I like the idea, but not based off a Zidara. How about, like bring back the Argosy design or something, and make the fins blue, instead of green, and then make it Zacha-like? That would be COOL!

What about a different type of shielding? Such as "instead of the standard plasma shielding, which comes on all ships, this new phase shielding is..." or something like that. Can that be done?

Well funds are pretty tight for the Zachit, so they can't afford big destroyers. That's why they use Aradas, Crescent Fighters, and (if you do the missions) Gunships. That also explains why the Gunship is so disproportionate in the weapons/shields ratio. They're meant to be a cheap way to supply a lot of firepower in the midst of battle. It's actually quite a good combination: the Gunships, with their Phase Turrets and SADs, can take out Crescent Warships, and the Zachit Fighters are fast enough to keep the CFs from destroying the Gunships.

If the funds are so tight, how come the missions such as "Escort Convoy" and "Termination give you 100-200 thousand credits? If they can jsut throw that much money to some random mercenary pilot, I think they have enough money to go around.

Good point Beefpile, but remeber, in the termination missions you're getting paid 150k to destroy a Crescent Warship. Now if a renegade buys a Crescent Warship, he's out 9 million credits. The Zachit figure, "let's pay a mercenary 1/60 of that ship's cost to destroy it." If the mercenary succeeds, the Zachit have destroyed a dangerous renegade for 1/60 the cost his ship.

Actually, they don't throw money at a random merc. We were hired because of our great piloting and combat skills. Therefore they lack much funding, even though the Miranu government supplies them with large amounts of money.

That's the point; in my plug the Zachit not only use Phase Beams on their Aradas and variants of the Zidara, but the Zidagar are their allies and both are fighting off the Azdgari and Igadzra.

Not only that, but in the plug the NT Renegades are being driven into the ground by the Zachit, who have no problem with them and have plenty of funds to man these destroyers. In fact, in the end, the NT Renegades are wiped out after the Zachit capture Hrekka. Of course, there is one change; the Zachit and Miranu start out with Miranu Gunships, and the Miranu Gunship missions are turned into the "Zachit Destroyer" missions.

Hmm...Nice....I think a cool idea for a Zachit warship would be a CW that looks like it's had a humongous bucket of blue paint dropped on it, equipped with tons of P. Missiles, a Zachit Fighter bay, 2 or 3 Zachit Fighters, and some phase turrets. A Zidagar/Zachit alliance would be pretty good, since there are both Miranu and Zidagar systems along the north tip that fight the NT Renegades. And a new Zidagar ship wouldn't be bad either, like say a Zidagar Arada, with 1 phased beam, 1 DR launcher, and say 11 dispy. rockets plus some swivel phase cannons. Or maybe an Igadzra Fighter, painted orange with a SAE launcher, a couple of SAE's, and some phase cannons. Or possibly a prototype/enhanced renegade vessel like the Nadir. I have one more interesting plugin idea in mind: the NT renegades steal Miranu Gunship plans, and make their own Renegade Gunship, which is basically a Miranu Gunship, except it's fitted with a Crescent Fighter bay, 3 phase turrets, and some dispy. rockets. Sounds cool doesn't it? And Carnotaur, you're making a plugin including those ideas? Nice! I wanna know when it's gonna come out!

Having the Zachit side with a Strand goes against Miranu Principles. If oyu remember from the early Miranu missions, they want trade, and trade with as many races as possible. They are a peaceful race, and do not want to get involved in the war, rather supply all three strands with what they need, and be happy. I think this will totally change how people see the Miranu, and not fit the EVO story too well. However, your plug, your call.

Well, the Zachit are funded by the Miranu and may even be a part of the Miranu government, so it wouldn't really make sense to have them head south the the South Tip, that is unless the Miranu established some colonies down there. I know they did it for the Nebula Exploration mission, so they certainly have the resources. An interesting possibility. Establishing closer ties with the UE government would be a nice move for the Miranu, though I wouldn't go as far as an alliance. And the Zachit could really tear into Human Renegade ships should such an arrangement come to pass.

Well, actually, in that same plug the Miranu set up colonies in the Ji and Proxima Nebulas. Oops, I wasn't supposed to say that.

Actually, as you know, the Miranu have always sided with the Zidagar a bit more than the other strands. The Zachit were having trouble with the Renegades, so after the Zidagar alliance, they became much more powerful and now the Renegades are almost gone. Besides, it's only the Zachit doing the fighting, and their particapation is limited. The Miranu continue on with their normal lives.

And yes, my plug is going to totally change the face of the galaxy. No more peaceful traders, you need to fight to survive. Alliances have occured, technology has been enhanced, some governments have fallen and risen, and there will be well over 120 missions for the pilot to explore.

Yup, it's already well over 3 megabytes, and has tons of new stuff, weapons, outfits, technologies, ships, governments, etc. It'll come out as soon as I'm finished with the last 70 or so missions.

Yeah, it always seemed like the Zidagar and Miranu liked each other more. I mean, you don't see Igazras or AWs in Miranu space, buy you do see Zidaras.

As I said, as soon as I finish another 70 missions, bug fixes, graphics, beta testing, etc.

Actually, I was planning on giving the Zidagar a ship, but unfortunately I've run out of ship resources. I was barely able to put in the ships that the plug has now. But oh well, the Zidagar are good enough. They don't need another ship.

Instead of the Igadzra getting a fighter, which seems rather unusual for them, I've given the Igadzra Igadzra beam technology, instead of it being destroyed in the Zidagar missions.

BTW, the Azdgari and Igadzra now have their own Lazira.
