    • Any hacks or codes

Hi I'm looking for any hacks codes ETC to help me in the dreadnought mission for UE and other hard missions thanks

      ------------------

    • Visit the pluging page on this site and download 'Dread not the Dreadnought'. It's a shame to spoil this lovely battle, though.

If you want to try to do it the hard way, several fan sites have articles about killing the Dreadnought. Look for 'Zacharay's EV Page', or the 'Voinian Kill' article at Grybs.com

    • why oh why do ppl cheat?

The depression continues. Poor lost ppl that feel the need to cheat...

In my day it was different....

    • Cheats are morally bad But I won't let that get in the way of crass commercialism. If you have to cheat to beat the game, which I don't recommend, download my plug, (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~dsghosh/evosite/scw.html")Super Crescent Warship(/url)! It includes one great ship that is all you need to win. All right?

Back to morality: to win the game, you don't need to cheat. So why do it? I've beaten that mission several times without cheating. Believe me, no cheats are necessary.

    • The Dreadnaught mission is particularly easy, unless of coarse you are playing strict play like I do. Makes it hell on ice.

      But otherwise you shouldn't cheat.

I would be interested how old you are. It might help me judge you in my super-biased, anti-cheat method.

    • If you want to make it a little easier without cheating, get as many "Destroy Supply Convey/Destroy Battle Group/etc. missions for the same system as you can. Eventually, all the UE ships will gang up on the dreadnaught, and if you've wounded it suffeciently it will almost always die.

Just remember: cheating is not the awnser. 😄

about cheating, my opinion is just like shayborg, I don't agree with it but people are free to cheat( because there's not human to human competition )

    • Poor, poor, pathetic little cheater. You never know what a battle it like, untill you have killed the Dreadnaught without even KNOWING about the Python. Poor, poor, Thomas.

    • I never was able to beat the dreadnaught using the M.P. method. The D.naughts turrets seemed to have to much range and because of its armor I could not tell when I was damaging it. I am not saying that it can not be done but if someone would elaborate on how they did it on this mission I would be obliged.

    • (list=a)
() Fit out your ship with phase cannon and a rocket launcher or two, and as many rockets as you can carry.
      (
) The Dreadnaught carries a fleet of interceptors, and there might be a cruiser or two in the system with four fighters each, so...
() Run like hell. Python the fighters and interceptors. Use your guns on them and save your rockets. Disable them, but DO NOT BLOW THEM UP.
      (
) Change direction. The cruisers and the 'naught will pick up, repair and relaunch any fighter carcass they fly over, which makes your life more complicated than it needs to be.
() Take out any (i)other(/) Voinian ships. Always pick on the weakest first. It reduces the number of guns firing at you as fast as possible. Use rockets sparingly.
      (
) Shoot up the 'naught until its shields are down. Phase cannon are best for this, and superior in range to the 'naught's own neutron guns.
() Once its shields are down, start lobbing in rockets. Keep firing rockets until you run out, then fly to the nearest disabled interceptor or fighter.
      (
) Board the enemy fighters and interceptors, take ammo, and then attempt a capture.
() The poor suckers die every time, but they get in a shot or two at the 'naught, and every little helps.
      (
) When you are approaching your maximum rocket load, return to the fight. Hold down the gun button - it might help a little - and lob in all the rockets.
(*) Rinse and repeat as required.
      (/list=a)

    • All I did was fire 95 pursuit missiles from my crescent warship; those and about 7 turrets (blaze and phase) firing on every flyby. The 'nought just died eventually... turned out to be easier than I thought.

may I remind you that EVO won't let you board a ship involved with a mission but thanks anyway

      ------------------

    • Since I have boarded those fighters, and done what I described, I can only assume that carried fighters don't acquire the mission flag that their motherships do. Perhaps someone with a more scientific knowledge of the internal working on EVO can confirm this?

If nothing else, perhaps somebody will confirm that they have boarded the dreadnaught's carried fighters?

    • I would sugest getting the display armour percentage thingy, I passed it using the slow but effective Monty Python method after my friendly UE destroyer guy had all died getting it down to 70 perc.

If you look long enough the Sun isn't that bright.

    • I havn't borded the Dreadnaught's fighters, but I have borded UE Fighters that come from Carriers in "Attack(put UE outpost name here)" mission. So you can board Carried fighterd from mission ships, but not the Mission ships themselvs.

for your information i'm 11 and I managed to get to the dreadnought mission using a scoutship armed with a neutron turret and 2 blaze turrets with deadly combat rating

      ------------------

    • Hey,calm now.

I didn't mean any offence honestly, it's just IMHO it takes the fun out of a great game. If you want invincibility it's possible without cheating with an azdara properly upgraded or even a CF.

      Anyway no offence meant really.
