Ok, I've seen a lot of topics about the best ships, but I was wondering what you all thought the wrost ships are? My vote would have to either the Ue freightor, the Krait, or the Emalgha Freightor(sorry Patton)

I would say...The Crecent Fighter. They are DANG expensive, don't have much shields, and don't have a horrible amount of weaponry either. Sixteen Kraits(which cost the same) could easily take out a few CFs.

If you take cost into account, then the cresent fighter is the worst. However, without it, its hands down the krait. Thats why they're not many topics like this. Everyone tends to agree.
However, if you dont take upgrading into account then the shuttle has to win.

No, I'd have to say a stock krait is much worse then a stock shuttle. The shuttle has 20 tons cargo and four jumps. It's not as fast as the krait, but it's sturdier (it's all relative). With the shuttle, you can at least take pretty much all basic missions. With a krait, you're stuck with raids on unarmed freighters. That doesn't pay as well as you'd hope.

Worst ship? Krait? I've got to disagree on that.
Because, fully upgraded(not that it can be upgraded much) and in the hands of an experienced pilot, it can be a threat to any type of freighter and the Elmalgha fighter.
The worst AI ship is the Voinian supply ship. Weak shields, quite weak armour and it moves about as fast as an 'asthmatic ant with some heavy shopping' (Blackadder goes forth, Episode six).
Worst ship to buy= Crescent fighter. Far,far too expensive for what they are.
(a voinian supply ship can survive against it's phase cannons for about five minutes and even by then it would usually have hyperspaced out.)

Ahhh... but it has good cargo. So you can use those mass expansions and give it plenty of room for upgrade and still have plenty of room for cargo which the krait does not

But...I'm more of a Pirate raider than a cargo hauler so i'm not usually bothered with cargo space. The krait is also more fun to pilot for me because i hate slow ships.
Anyway, I did mention that the VSS was the worst AI controlled ship, not the worst ship to buy. It's still a sitting duck though...

I think you have to take into consideration that any ship at the hands of an experienced pilot is dangerous.
When I was in but a scoutship and it's successor, the helian, the mighty president of Ambrosia himself, really was mighty.
It goes to show that any ship, even andrew's freighter can become a menace.
My pilot has 11M left because I chose not to fly a cruiser like so many before me.
A small, semi-warship is far more enjoyable in my opinian and presents more of a challenge.

Anyway, the overall worst ship is probably the Krait. I mean, it's just so all-around pathetic that nothing else seems to measure down. Although, in the hands of a skilled pilot, a Krait... can suck. No matter what you do to it, it will never be as good as a Shuttle or something could be with the same kind of attention. The Krait just plain stinks.
Worst ship for the cost... Crescent Fighter. That's pretty much agreed upon.

Whats wrong with the freighter-courier? 3 turrets slots, decent armor, not to slow but nothing compared to a fighter, good cargo, good fuel, but if you have a million to spare the Arada is better. In player vs AI (yes I know player has a drastic advantage) all computer UE ships suck cause they cant hit anything with their blaze turrets.

The UE Freightor is terrible anywhere you might be attacked, however it's OK for cargo hauling. An Emalgha Freightor is decent against the Voinians, but I wouldn't want to take one into the Crecent. As for the Crecent Fighter, It's a decent ship (Escpecially outside the Crecent), but I'd never get one because for 200,000 more you can get an Arada which is sooooooo much better.
Overall, the wrost ship is proably the Krait. It's the weakest combat ship in the galaxy, and it is completely worthless for anything else.
And Lone, I've taken out Voinian Cruisers with Crecent Fighters with Phase Cannons and Doposect armor. (Really - it just took about 3 hours :D). Those things and thier weapons are soo slow I almost never got hit.
