I was looking a topic string on the weboard and I noticed a post
by this treeka guy (?). I think it was about people's thoughts about the characters in the game and stuff like that. I noticed that no one replied because there was no new topic. So I will ask that question instead. I think it was something like this...

"I was just wondering about what people think about the characters in EVO. Like, what they might look like how they got their postion ect."

I think that this person said something about UE and the Strands, can't renembe, Oh well.

I was wondering if anybody had thoughts on this.

P.I wonder what happened to that treeka guy (?) Haven't seen them on the webboard since?

Admiral Davies would be tall with light brown hair and a serious look on his face.

The voinians (these are my versions) are 5'8" avg height and are all scales. not scales that overlap like a fish, though. scales that are edge to edge.

Emalgha would be a cross between a wookie, an ewok and a chimp.

miranu would have long heads with proud looks on their faces, and rubbery skin

igazra would be stockier than miranu, and have slightly diff skin

i'm going to stop here, cuz im getting tired.

Vice-Admiral D'erlon is obviously French, just like Admiral MacPherson is obviously Scottish. Admiral Tzu is probably Chinese, can't be Japanese. (No Tzu sound in the Japanese language). Its sad that they killed off Tzu. He only got 1 mission string. Most of the characters don't really have a personality.

I was always surprised that when you hail a ship, you see its exterior. Why not a picture of pilot (for fighters) or the bridge crew? I'm sure in the EV community, there's someone with enough old-fashioned artistic flair (maybe use an airbrush instead of Bryce) to produce and scan a set of pictures for the various faces and races. Or maybe I should just point my frame-grabber at some old episodes of that yawn-inducing Gene Roddenberry thing. For personal use only of course - wouldn't want to upset any copyright holders.

Anyway, these exterior ship shots, always from slightly above and ahead... where's the camera?

Personally, I would go for about 6'+ tall, grey or greying hair. Probably in his late 40's or early 50's. Bright grey or light blue eyes, maybe a piercing stare.
Probably has slight scottish accent, although not so well defined after years of travelling through space.

I imagine Admiral McPherson as a person in his mid 40s, dark grey hair, and blue eyes.

I imagine the Azdgari as the green/dark green human like creatures which are really hyper, really fast, always win gold medals at the Olympics at running, have sharp teeth, muscular arms, and long fingers.

I think the Igadzra aren't that tall, about 5' 10", and are REALLY muscular and paranoid.

I've never been quite sure about what the Emalgha look like.

I always imagined MacPherson as a 6'0" African American man with graying hair (buzz cut) and slightly heavyset. Wow, I was off...

The Igadzra: 6'4" muscular, hunched over, angry temperaments, dark orange skin
The Adzgari: 5'6", thin, very fast paced, light blue and dark green skin (as you can tell my perception of the species is based on the color of their ships)
Voinians: 7'0", strong build, intense eyes, spiky yellow skin. Hah. how's that for a change?

I imagien the Voinians being about 7' tall weighing 400-500 lbs., being gray and having scales that overlap slightly and having a head like the alien on the cover of the second book of the "Counquers" seires by Timothy Zahn. I also imagien this topic had been dead for a very, very, very long time.

Anyway, I've already posted what I think all these aliens and characters look like, but I think I've changed my mind:

Azdgari: About 6' 3", hyperactive, muscular but still very thin, elongated head, no hair, sharp teeth, somewhat scaly skin, green/dark green/black coloration, and long fingers and arms. And they always carry a phase knife.

Verane (ex-Azdgari in Zachit missions): Typical Azdgari, but a scar near his eye, and about 6' 2" or 6' 1".

Zidagar: 5' 11", thick, slightly heavyset, muscular (as are all the strands), and purple scaley skin with a few yellow stripes. And they always carry a phase beamer.

Igadzra: About 6' 5", very thick, heavyset, very muscular, highly paranoid, sometimes dumb, slow, and yellow/orange/red coloration. And they always carry a phase blaster.

Voinians: Abou5 6' 4-5", strong, sometimes dumb, always wearing metal suits that are colored just like their ships, and with a helmet that looks like the bridge of a Voinian frigate, with the red part being the thing that he sees through, and they always carry neutron blasters. Voinians themselves are very ugly, scaley, mean creatures, with large teeth and a bad attitude.

UE: Well, duh. We kinda know what they look like.

Emalgha: Very scaley, and short. About 6' 0", and no specific uniform.

Miranu: You know, I never gave them much thought.

This has been brouhgt up before. I'm surprised no one ever id it. I would if I could do graphics, and if I could do a good job. I think I mentioned it to Andre Vandle in an e-mail.
