I'm getting sick of these polls to. Why can't we just have two polls per month, say in nov. we have 2 polls then in dec. we close those and post two more and the cycle continues.

Yeah, right. Like they care. It took 2 e-mails and 2 days for them to take care of UE General. Chamrin never posts, he just idles on IRC. Jude hasn't posted in months. Micah and EVula are still cool, though they don't come here as often as they should.
And yes, I am in a bad mood.

Not me, I think they're an... uh... essential part of our... uh... online... er... community. Just kidding, they're annoying, but they get people arguing, which can be funny. And no one is makeing anyone read them, so you don'thave a valid complaint. But... they're still annoying

I like most of the polls, though the polls on favorite ships really bug me. Comeon, can't you people think of something original?
Speaking of original, complaining about polls isn't that new. There was just one last week... "I think we should limit posts complaining abot polls to maybe 2 every month"

How about this, you guys decide on one person to start polls, and everyone emails him their poll ideas, I will delete any polls not started by him, and every two weeks he'll start a new poll with the date in it, explaining the polling process and starting the new poll, and at the same time he can announce the previous polls results. And I will lock the old poll. How does that sound? You guys will have to decide on someone who should do the polls.
Oh, and October Fost, the reason the moderators don't post all that much is pretty simply because there isn't anything new to talk about. We still take care of the spam just fine, we just don't comment on it.

A few things... the emailing one poll person won't work. Mostly newbies post polls, and they won't know about any poll person.
And I must say, Chamrin does his job, Fost. I discovered a lil' loophole in the board a few days ago.... and G.I. Chamrin came bursting through my defensive lines and blew up my bunker. Emails me, figures out HOW I did my little loophole thing, deletes my posts, and covers up everything to make it look like nothing happened. Heh. They're out there
BTW... Chamrin, sorry for talking about this.... but, you guys have put a block on my little loophole thing, so what harm is there in mentioning it?
