I wanna see an internet multiplayer version of Escape Velocity.(this came to me cuz i play quake 3 fortress alot) Anyone here play Q3F? if ya do then ya know what im talkin about, anyway it goes like this:
Once you get on a server you choose a team, Vionions vs UE or whatever, then you choose a ship. Each player has a home planet, and every time they get killed they'll come back at their home planet, no matter where the docked last. the object is to capture the other teams Capital (such as Vionians must capture Earth). Each ship will have strenghts and weaknesses that will balance most of the ships. there will of corse be a limit on the number of capital ships a team can have. Once a players home planet has been captured they will not be able to come back, and if killed will fly arond in a ghost ship that can't be seen or picked up on radar and will have no weopons. ( spectator ) The map would have to be semmetrical as to not give any team an advantage. Once a teams home planet is captured the game will start over.
Just an idea that i have, and would like to see this sometime in the future.
