It's fairly simple, after you defeat the entire defense fleet, AND MAKE SURE THEY HAVE ALL BLOWN UP(very important), you just demand tribute again and the status will change from hostile to dominated. Dominated planets are green on the map. Hint: Karyia, the planet next to South Tip Station has a large fleet of Crescent fighters but gives you 10,000 cred. per day once you conquer it

ok, maybe this is a repeat of earlier questions, but how on earth fdo you get the adzgari missions?! i have ultimate combat rating and decent individual or better in all of their systems. ive been to south tip station buit is still cant get the first mission. HELP!

btw, heres a really dumb question: how do i make myself a sig? :redface:

Have you done any of the starting missions for any other strand? The mission doesn't have a 100% chance. That means you won't get it every time. I think it has a 75% chance. Just fly around the system for a while and land. You should get it after a while.

Pree the profile button (at the top of this page) to get your info. There should be a part that says signature. How do you like mine ;)?

Any y'all finish the search mission on Shades of Evil? the sn'd ROTF plug?? If so where is the planet located?? I jave landed on every bloody planet in the galaxy and dominated every planet that is not Volian.

I have a question...but it's Frozen Heart related, if that's cool...?

Basically, I have two missions that appear open, and don't seem to be going anywhere and for which I haven't gotten any new info for a while: the "get to Emile" mission after he's dead AND the "Take Piper to Mendoza and get back to Tesken" mission. I've done everything, but they're both still on my list...

Is there someplace I have to go to pick things up again?

ok, here it goes. two are in response to an earlier question that i found wrong

the other is an actual question.

someone asked what to do in order to recieve the voinian missions.

a response stated you must initiate the V. deffector mission...BZZZZZ! wrong.

i have reached the end (disappointing end) to the voinian string. (this is the string AS IS WHEN EVO IS Downloaded. NOT WITH THE added missions PLUGIN)

to initiate the string you MUST NOT do ANY....ANY UE related missions.
sorry, but that includes doing UE shipping and Frontier Express missions also.

do normal shipping missions (use the plug lightning jump to make it faster. its on this website.) till you can get a fighter you are comfortable with. i used a scoutship throughout almost all the Voinian missions and fared out pretty fine (its trade in was 1.5 million...)

back to the answer
get a good fighter. kill some renegades to up your combat rating to mostly harmless.

go to pax station (located on dogovor near sol)

land

enter the bar and you will be prompted by this (more or less)

"you sit in the bar awaiting...yadda yadda yadda...in the corner of your eye you catch a voinian in the corner of the room (or something) he motions you over. do you go?" choose yes

there you are. you basically scout out bakka (i think). and eventually

also

when you get "dead ended" in the string there is another mission thats kinda seperate you must complete.

go to one of the planets closest to emalghia and land. the planet description will read that it is the Voinian base of ops against the emalghians(that sound right?).

go in the bar and you will do a set of two or three missions with them and then get access to the V. cruisers

from then on all other (one exception) missions are recieved at the Vorik system.

you will know when you reach the end of the Voinian string when the last words in the mission DE-BREIFING is "bloody voinians"

don't ask me why...i won't tell you. go find out yourself. personally i found it relaxing to go beat the hell outta a set of UE cruisers and destroyers...at the same time.

NOW (huff...huff) my question

this is more technical than it is in-game. but you said anything.(and im fairly good at working with technology)

my EVO will not allow me to update to 1.0.2
i check the version of everything and it reads 1.0.2 (except music and sounds and titles)
i try and open a given file with a plug-in (that onlyworks with EVO 1.0.2) and it won't allow me because it was "made with a different version of EVO"

i tried un-installing EVERYTHING (including preference files)
installing with the chunck install DL'ed from this site and it won't work
i tried using the updater on the "updated version" of my game and it wouldn't work
and i can't unstuff the image files of EVO so i dont know if they will work or not.

BUT reguardless. i cant play F-25 because some loophole thinks EVO is 1.0.0

If I follow a strand war mission string to the end, is there any way of subsequently working for the other two strands? I mean, I like the Igadzra ship and the plasma siphon, but I also like the idea of shield rechargers, equipment miniaturisation, etc...

Naturally, when you work for one strand, you can become persona non grata in a pretty large tract of space... but if I take cargo or passengers into hostile space (so I'm allowed to land), and kill renegades, etc., do I have a chance of getting back on good terms with the other strands? Good enough to do a special mission?

yeah, theres a plug called triple agent that lets you play all three strands. oh, and destroying renegades or doing cargo runs wont help, but you can do both UE and Voinian missions by doing V. missions first then buy the fake I.D.
