The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy is about Arthur Dent and the very strangest aspects of the universe. Don't ask about the plot- it ran away and we haven't found it yet.
Douglas Adams is only one of the best authors that ever lived. He's also British, if you care at all.

Umm... at Barnes & Noble's webiste (bn.com), they don't say anything about different volumes or whatever. They just advertise the one book. At least, they don't say anything about different books. Try getting the one for $147. Maybe that's all the volumes.

I only posted it on two. Different people go to the two differnent boards, and I wanted to tell all of them. And this does have to do with EV. Many of the systems and planets are from HHGTTG.
